Drag the Word allows you to create textual expressions with missing pieces of text.

This is a type of assessment where the learners drag a missing piece of text to its correct place to form a complete expression. It is used to check if the learner remembers a text they have read.

You can also check out the below steps to know how to use drag the word:

STEP 1 : First please click on the CLASSROOMS tab



STEP 2: Next you will click on the classroom for which you want to use DRAG THE WORD block



STEP 3: Once inside the classroom, click on ADD BLOCK



STEP 4: You will see the search bar , please search now for DRAG THE WORD



STEP 5: Once you have searched , click on DRAG THE WORD



STEP 6: You can decide and now give a suitable TITLE to this block



STEP 7: Next, you can add a suitable DESCRIPTION.



NOTE: If you want to keep the description field blank, you can. So its totally upto you

STEP 8: Now inside text box, type your text and add an asterisk(*) before and after the right word.



Note: Write the sentence with the draggable word within Asterisk.

EXAMPLE: An Apple is red in colour.

STEP 9: Click on ADD TEXT BOX to add more text field



STEP 10: Type your text and add an asterisk(*) before and after the right word.



STEP 11 : Finally you click the SAVE button to save drag the word as a part of assessment.

A) Once saved, click on the ADMIN USER



B)Then next click on the VISIT USER SITE



C) On this step, you need to click on MY LIBRARY



D) Click on the classroom for which you want to see drag the word as a learner



E) Tap on the START button



F) Finally click on DRAG THE WORD



From a learners angle you can see drag the word appearing:
