At first, we will understand what ZOOM actually is.

Zoom is a cloud-based video communications app that allows you to set up virtual video and audio conferencing, webinars, live chats, screen-sharing, and other collaborative capabilities. As an educator can help keep your class going if you or your students have a situation that keeps you from meeting in person.

Synchronous online class sessions, where everyone joins a Zoom meeting at a scheduled time, is one way to create engagement when students are remote. Zoom can also support other teaching and learning scenarios. Zoom can be used on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, and even desk phones, giving students many ways to access the class session.

To integrate a Zoom account with Edison you will need access to JWT CREDENTIALS to get the keys**.** To get JWT credentials**,** you need to have a zoom pro account and then only you are eligible to integrate your zoom account with Edison.

If you already have a ZOOM PRO ACCOUNT, you can take the help of this video to integrate the zoom account to the Edison Platform.

Or you can also follow the mentioned below steps to integrate your ZOOM account to the Edison Platform:


First, please go to**.**


Click on the ‘DEVELOP’ tab as shown below.


Click the ‘BUILD APP’ option from the list as shown in the image below.


Now it says that your account has JWT CREDENTIALS. So, next please click on the ‘VIEW HERE’ as shown in the image here.

Note: If you have not created JWT yet, create JWT by clicking on CREATE.


Now you will be needed to copy the KEYS AND SECRETS that is required.

We are done copying JWT CREDENTIALS and now we will need to go to our EDISON platform.

STEP 6: First please click on the SETTINGS tab.


Now a screen will appear. You can see Zoom as indicated by the box below. Tap on the ZOOM.


Now please click on the ADD KEY to paste the keys.


In this step, paste the keys into the JWT KEY and JWT SECRET field which you have copied from the 5th step. Then please click on the ADD tab as represented in the image below to have the keys added.

STEP 10:

Finally, you can see that your ZOOM ACCOUNT has been successfully integrated with EDISON.

CONGRATULATIONS !!! You have successfully integrated Zoom Account to Edison. We are happy to see you delighted because now an integrated Zoom account will help you to Share screen, launch PowerPoint, and deliver mini-lecture to your students. And also now you can use Annotation features in Zoom to mark up your PowerPoint slides. Students can access your Zoom class from a number of interfaces and devices.
