How to Create a Guest Link for Live Sessions on EdisonOS?

EdisonOS lets you to conduct live classes with ease. With EdisonOS, you can create a live session URL for anonymous users, which enables them to join your session without signing into the platform. All you need to do is create the session link and share with the anonymous users.

Here's how to create live session link for anonymous users:


Go to the Classroom tab and select the relevant classroom.
Click on the Calendar tab and select Create Single Session.
Give a session name & description, set the start date and time, and choose the schedule. The date picker will help you set the date on which you want to conduct the Live Session.
Set the medium. If you keep medium as manual/custom, you have to manually insert the meeting link when the meeting starts(For instance, if you wish to start the meeting via Google Meet) or if you select zoom as the medium it means you can go live through zoom.
Upload any reference material. You can upload GIFs, Videos, PNG files.
Check the Allow anonymous Users box to generate a host and user live session joining link, then click Save.



Note: Please keep in mind that the live session must be initiated by the admin, host, or instructor for learners to gain entry to the session.
