How to Add a New Section to Your Assessments?

Are you looking to add more structure and organization to your Assessments? Creating sections can help break up your test into manageable chunks, making it easier for your test-takers to focus on one subject or topic at a time. With the ability to create standardized, random, or adaptive sections, the options are endless.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add a new section to your Assessments:

From the dashboard, open the Assessments tab and select the assessment you want to add sections to.
In the Assessments builder, click on Create Section to add a new section to your Assessments.
When prompted, you have the option to choose the type of section you want to create. A standardized section will consist of the same questions for all test-takers, a random section will consist of a random set of questions from a question bank, and an adaptive section will adjust the questions based on the test-taker's performance on the previous section.
Note: Adaptive sections can only be added as subsequent sections, they cannot be the first section of the assessment.
Additionally, you have the option to enable a timer for each section and set a break time for your learners to take rest between sections.

You can set the Sectional Test Duration upto 5 Hours.

By following these above steps, you can easily add sections to your assessment to increase organization and structure for your test-takers. With the option to create different types of sections, you can tailor your assessment to meet the specific needs of your learners.
