Create a Mark the Words Activity with EdisonOS

Use the excellent Mark the Words exercise.

Creating Mark the Words Activity



Click on the Classroom Tab form the left sidebar Next go to the Classroom for which you want to create Mark the Words Activity
Click on the Add Block and search for Mark the Word. Click on MARK THE WORD
Next give a suitable Title .Write a Task description for the activity. This help students understand what they need to do, it can be a direct instruction.
Set a Mark the Word question inside the Text box field. Do not forget to add an Asterisk infront and behind the correct word.
Note: You can only mark single words as answers, not two-word phrases. Hyphenated words are counted as one word.
If you want to add more Mark the Word questions, then click Add Text Box to add.
Set a question inside the Text Box field and add an Asterisk infront and behind the correct word.
Once done, click on the Save button



Experience the Learner Side



Please click on the User profile from top right corner.
Click on My Library to go for the classroom.
Next go to the Classroom for which you want to find the Tables
Click the Start button and to view the table of contents. Click Mark the Word content.



PRO TIP: You can use such type of question when you want to test your learners and help them get rid of the spelling error .Here is where you can ask them to mark the option with the correct spelling. Help them with enough practice questions where mark the word seems truly a game changer eventually making the assessment a fun loving exercise.
